—— Videography Style ——
The journalistic videography style is probably the most widely-used style when it comes to wedding videos. I document all parts of the wedding possible for me, from the getting ready to the reception. It is also described as the “documentary” of the occasion. It will be edited and polished based on the actual sequence of events.
As I do this as well as photographing on your wedding day, unless requested otherwise, photographing the wedding is my priority, and filming is second. So, certain events and moments of your day will only be photographed and not filmed at the exact same time unless made possible, e.g. the first kiss, first look, etc. This is because some moments are very quick and unintentional, and I am unable to capture on both photo and video at the same time as I only have myself to do this.
I do not film the full length of events or audio, e.g. I don’t have a camera set up to film the whole of a ceremony or speeches, I capture moments as they happen by hand.
I also do not have the highest quality equipment that is suited for video, and I am not a professional at videography, this is why the add-on of a video is at a lower price than normal.
